Training and Experience: Photojournalism and a Diversity of Experiences
Edward is professionally trained Atlanta photographer with a graduate degree from the Moscow University of Art, where he studied Photography and Cinematography. His career began in the former Soviet Union as a photojournalist for newspapers and magazines for which he covered local and regional news and other events in western Ukraine, and frequently traveled on assignment. Edward was particularly interested in assignments that took him to remote Ukrainian villages, and allowed him to capture the vibrant character of daily life in the rural communities unknown most urban dwellers.
After his relocation to the U.S., Edward transitioned to wedding photography in Atlanta, Georgia. He has been practicing his trade in the Atlanta area for over a decade, and has established himself as one of the premiere Atlanta photographers for local weddings, as well as destination wedding photography. Each one of Edward’s photographs reflects the wealth of his training in the best European and American photojournalistic traditions and skills cultivated through years of relentlessly pursuing artistic perfection.

Weddings, Engagements and Other Life Milestones – Edward enjoys working with clients on the days of their happiest life milestones, and takes especial pride in the wedding and related photography services he offers. Photography coverage can span as much of the wedding-related festivities as the couple desires: a formal or informal engagement sessions, rehearsal dinner, wedding preparation coverage on the day of the event, the wedding ceremony and reception, and any day-after family events. Edward also offers coverage of anniversary celebrations, baby photo sessions, and day-in-the-life coverage involving families and children.
